Nothing hits the spot quite like a steaming bowl of udon noodles. This Japanese dish originated in the 1940s when ramen noodles used in yakisoba were scarce. It was then, a place called in Kyushu, that Yaki udon was born! This version features Evergreen fried silken tofu, shiitake mushroom, carrot and cabbage in a rich, housemade soy, mushroom and mirin sauce, topped off with a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds. Quick, easy and delicious!
