Artisa Freycinet is a premium cashew-based cheese that is rolled in a blend of aromatic Tasmanian botanicals such as kunzea, pepperberry leaf and saltbush. The paste is creamy white in appearance and has a semi-firm sliceable texture. The delicate herbaceous flavour complements the lactic tang of the cheese. Silver Medal, Tasmanian Fine Food Awards 2021. Store in your fridge and use within 7 days of opening.

More information
All Artisa cheeses have cashew nuts as the main ingredient, tastily supported by locally sourced Tasmanian produce. Theur cheeses are made using traditional fermentation and ripening methods, so they are authentic in flavour and texture.
Artisa was founded by Julie and Roger Martyn, who wanted to create a gourmet product that was ethical, environmentally responsible and sustainable.
Julie is a microbiologist who can cook, bake, preserve and ferment - this makes her a super smart foodie.
Roger can turn his hand and mind to the mechanics of most conundrums and has a keen interest in sustainable agriculture and nutrient-dense food production.
In 2017 Julie and Roger started producing their natural, clean ingredient cheeses that showcased Tasmanian flavours, which have won many awards.
