Miller Lane Almond Bocconcini combine a subtle almond flavour with a texture that closely resembles that of their dairy equivalent. This hand-crafted cheese melts beautifully, so it’s perfect for pizzas, pastas and roast vegetable panini or toasties. Also great for a caprese salad.
Storage and shelf life
Keep your Miller Lane Almond Bocconcini refrigerated (max. 4 degrees C), keep submerged (air is the enemy), use clean utensils when removing from tub, keep the brine (water) clean. Use within 2 weeks.
About Miller Lane Foods
Based in Sydney’s inner west, Miller Lane Foods produces premium artisanal vegan cheeses, crackers and biscuits from pure, simple, whole ingredients, without the use of artificial colours, fillers or preservatives. All their products are hand-crafted and made to order, ensuring optimum freshness and shelf life.
Their food philosophy is to provide a healthy alternative to the many highly processed vegan products that are flooding the market, which are often high in saturated fats, highly refined, and highly preserved for an excessive shelf-life.
Founder and head chef at Miller Lane, Carmel Caridade, is a qualified chef of over 30 years. She has worked in fine dining restaurants through to pubs, and as a personal chef to the most discerning and demanding private clients in Sydney.
Carmel decided to try making her own vegan cheese when she could not find any that she truly enjoyed. As a chef, she was curious if she could create something delicious for everyone, not just vegans. After a year of experimenting, the first Miller Lane cheese was born.
