Pad kee mao

Pad kee mao

JUST VEGAN! | FAMILY FRIENDLY | Spicy (medium/optional), Great for leftovers, High protein, Quick and easy (20 mins or less)
Our favourite Thai takeout dish! Pad kee mao or drunken noodles is a delicious noodle dish full of flavour and made in under 20 minutes. With golden tofu, fresh veg and lots of aromatic Thai basil and garlic chives. This version is slightly less spicy than you generally find, with an option to omit the chilli for a family friendly version.

Tofu is a good source of protein and contains all nine essential amino acids your body needs. Surprisingly, it provides more protein per calorie than beef. It is also a source of iron, manganese, potassium, calcium, selenium, phosphorous, magnesium, copper, zinc and vitamin B1.

Tofu has been linked to health benefits such as better heart health, lower levels of ‘bad’ cholesterol, better bone health, lower risk of colorectal and prostate cancer, healthier skin and better memory and brain health.
